[Reporting Katalyth with Childe again? Easy money. Something productive they cna do to help the situation, and hopefully not too destructive. Eli needs an activity like this. He's trying to convince himself he's not a complete mess and a burden on everyone he's close to. So, let's go!]

[He points to a path that heads northeast and then starts to walk it.]

[As the way is revealed, Childe starts confidently striding up the path, knowing already that it won't be long before they run into their target. So now's a good of a time as ever to get caught up, seeing how he hasn't had the chance to see Eli in a few months now.]

Oh, only the usual of course- experiencing strange and unforeseen events thanks to the meddling of our captors, being mind-controlled by them, and getting the opportunity to challenge quite a few of our stronger warriors as a result. All in all, I think it's been a pretty eventful last few months for me.

[There's no bitterness in his tone of voice despite the facts, if anything, it's more unsurprised. Like of course that would happen, but he made the best of it regardless.]

Oh! And I also got to try on a variety of dresses too. Seems the boutiques in the area really think I'm suited for formal wedding ware. I think they need to really focus on fixing the design of dresses...you can't fight properly in them at all.

He does laugh a little at Childe's main issue with dresses being their impracticality for fighting.]

That's fun, I'd like to see you in a dress... I had fun with the wedding wear as well. No dresses for me though.

Tartaglia doesn't know if "lost" here means died, or the worst thing happened- that Bricks lost their battle to their Natural Soul and is now just a feral shell. It's not a happy outcome either way, so his expression softens with empathy.]

Ah, I didn't know. My apologies...I hope the worst scenario was avoided.

[He skips over a few rocks as they make their way forward, not stopping regardless- that Katalyth needs to be taken care of and maybe the task at hand will be a welcome distraction from the memory that Childe's unintentionally brought back up.]
