Hey Ereshkigal,

What a name. Can I call you Eresh or something? Anyway, thank you for the book and your sentiment, it's really sweet. I'm not super bothered by the idea of where my soul ends up- with any luck, it's a long way off anyway, given that elves lives for centuries and I'm still only in my 40's or so. But with the life I lead, sometimes it feels like it's a much shorter matter of time. I get myself into a lot of perilous situations, so it's nice to know that some gods will treat my filthy sinner soul with more mercy, including you, if you have any say in it.

Speaking of filthy sinners, uh, I don't read a lot and I don't know you well so I wasn't sure what kind of book to get you in return. I got you my friend Northly's book, which is romance/smut, but it's pretty good. I'm writing one of my own like it too. She works at a sex shop and she's really cool, I recommend meeting her if you haven't yet.

Anyway. We should meet for real soon. Happy holidays or whatever

[The time finally comes where the Katalyth threatens the outside of Karteria once more, even after their initial excursion almost a year ago to assist Patho-Gen with the cleanup in the Woods. The very existence of it threatens their livelihoods, and though Childe is no fan of Patho-Gen, this is an instance where resentment has no place. If the Katalyth overtakes the city, everything gets harder.

Partnering up with his travel buddy here seems like the best option. Since they'd both traversed the continent to the north together, he can't think of a better person to scout out the area around Karteria. Armed this time only with his wits and his Vision, the fully corrupted mantis/bee/wheel bug man here steps lightly in the forest, eyes on the lookout for Katalyth.]

Seems like just yesterday we were out here among these toxic minerals...you ready for another round?

[Though his words are light and playful, Tartaglia is really anything but. His senses are turned up to the maximum...which is why he's on high alert, feeling something beneath his feet that he doesn't like. He can only be thankful for his Arthropoda senses right about now.]
